ACTION ALERT for ALL Virginia Residents: Help Save Deer in Arlington, VA
The deer population in Arlington, Virginia has decreased 23% from 290 deer in 2021 to 222 deer in 2025. In spite of the 23% decrease in the Arlington Deer population, the Arlington County Parks and Recreation Department of Natural Resources wants to sharpshooter deer. Write the Arlington County Board and ask them to implement humane strategies that respect and protect deer, humans, and our entire ecosystem. The letter, which can be customized, will go directly to the Arlington County Board.
